Frequently asked questions regarding billing and shipping:
Do Furniture and Special delivery items take additional processing time?
If there is an unexpected delay or if any item is on back order, we will email you to let you know. Extra heavy items such as furniture will be shipped via courier, or Truck Freight and may take some extra time to arrive. Please allow at least 1-2 weeks for all furniture items to ship. If you ordered two or more items, you may receive them in multiple boxes on different days, because of varying item availability and shipping locations. We do not charge you extra shipping for split shipments.
How do you deal with delivery and damaged shipments?
1) Fully inspect all deliveries before signing the receipt even if you do not plan on opening the carton right away. If you do not contact us within 7 days of receipt of the item to let us know about shipping damage, we will not be able to refund you. 2) Write down any visible damage such as box crushed, torn, creased and other circumstances about the delivery. 3) If you find concealed damage, save the carton and packaging material.
What are your Payment Options? We accept all major credit cards using Paypal as our payment processor.
What if Tracking Says "Delivered;" Package Not Received?
Occasionally a carrier will scan a package as delivered before it arrives at the final destination. When this happens, the package is usually delivered within the next few business days.
If you have waited a couple of days and you still do not have the package:
-See if someone else accepted delivery. Check with household members, neighbors, building managers, the mail room, front desk, and anyone else who may have accepted the delivery.
-Look around the delivery location. Carriers sometimes leave packages in a safe, hidden place like on a side porch, in/around your garage, or behind bushes.
-Look for a notice of attempted delivery. You may find an attempted delivery notice in your mailbox or P.O. Box or on your door. Follow the instructions on that notice to request re-delivery or pick up the package.
-Contact the carrier. Ask if they have additional information about the packages location. (Have your tracking or delivery confirmation number handy.) If your package was shipped via UPS, they may be able to hold the package at their local hub for you to pick up. You can call UPS and see if this is possible.
Most packages arrive by the estimated delivery date listed in . If you do not receive the package by then, please allow an additional day or two for the package to be delivered. Please note that carriers may deliver packages up until 8 p.m.
What if there is No Tracking Information?
If your package was recently shipped, or if it's been sent to an international address using Standard or Expedited Shipping, tracking might not be available. If your package doesn't arrive by the estimated delivery date listed, please wait a few more days. Usually packages arrive on or shortly after the estimated delivery date.
If the estimated delivery date for your package has passed and your tracking information hasn't changed, please allow an additional day or two for the package to be delivered.
What if an Item is Missing from the Shipment?
If you're missing an item, check to verify all the items in your order were in the same shipment. Sometimes we split your order into multiple shipments (at no additional cost to you).
